Job Description
Ross Elliott Jewelers is looking for a motivated, hard-working individual who wants to help give our customers a first-class jewelry-buying experience. The qualified individual will have a customer-first mindset and demonstrate clearly and concisely why we are best suited to cater to those who interact with our store. Prior sales experience is a plus, but we are willing to train as well!
Responsibilities:
Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner
Responds to all customer inquiries in a timely fashion
Serves customers by helping them select jewelry or brainstorm new designs
Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
Directs customers to areas of the store aligning with the customer's stated interest(s)
Provides outstanding customer service
Properly processes and documents all transactions and customer interactions
Alerts management of potential security issues
Keeps customers informed by notifying them of future promotions and merchandise of potential interest for upcoming special occasions
Helps maintain and organize all tools and materials necessary for serving customers
Demonstrate product knowledge of all merchandise
Be aware of fluctuating precious metal and gemstone prices
Clean and inspect jewelry for customers
Inspect and provide options for customers in need of jewelry repair services
Assist customers who utilize our drive-thru
Assist with answering phone calls
Assist with inventorying merchandise for reordering
Helps keep the store clean by wiping down counters, vacuuming, and other items as needed
Makes sure merchandise in cases are clean and properly displayed
Follow up on all sales with a personal "Thank You" note
Follows all procedures as documented in company manuals and as directed by management

Job Type:
Full-time (includes Saturdays year-round and Sundays between Thanksgiving and Christmas)
Salary:
From $40,000 per year (includes lucrative bonuses tied to sales performance)
